French Skincare

was in France over the summer with my family and I dragged them into so many pharmacies over there. French skincare has a great reputation so I picked a few bits that caught my eye. I've been using them for about 2 months now and here are my thoughts on the products.

Bioderma Créaline H2O;
I've tried quite a few Micellar waters and loved them but everyone says that nothing can beat bioderma so I definitely wanted to pick it up. Bioderma is the queen of all Micellar waters. It's truly amazing and I agree with anyone that says it can't be beat. It removes all of my makeup without irritating my skin at all. It is quite pricey in comparison to the other Micellar waters but it's worth it. I highly recommend it.

La Roche Posay Serozinc Toner::
This is another hyped French skincare product. I picked it up for around €6 and you can't get your hands on it at all here. I thought it would be like water in a can and not work at all but this is seriously amazing. It calms the skin but also helps with bacterial breakouts without irritating the skin at all. I stopped using this for a few weeks and I really noticed the difference. I don't know what to do when it runs out.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm:
This is yet again another hyped French pharmacy buy that everyone raves about. It has a really nice citrusy scent. It has a matte texture which I was quite worried about and wondered how a matte lip balm would moisturise my lips but it does. It's really rich and quite creamy considering the matte texture. It's not sloppy or gritty on the lips and is perfect to go under lipstick.

Super U Matiifying Moisturiser;
Super U is a French supermarket which has tasty food but their own brand products are so cheap and amazingly good. I love all of their hair products as well as their skincare range. I picked up this moisturiser for around €3. I didn't think it would be anything special and wouldn't moisturise my skin but I really like it. It has a very light fresh scent, it moisturises my skin without adding too much shine and it does help keep my face matte throughout the day. I really recommend checking out this brand if you are ever in France.

Do you have any skincare recommendations?
