The Book Everyone Needs To Read

This isn't my usual blogpost topic and I never thought I would be writing about books on here but nothing happens inside your comfort zone! During the past year I haven't been reading as much as I was years ago because of the Leaving Cert. One of my goals over the summer was to get back into reading, and I definitely have fallen back in love with it!

Everyday Edge

We have all seen the amazing outfits in magazines that are amazing, but you'd never be able to wear them on an everyday basis. I always try and take inspiration from theses editorial looks and see how I can enhance my everyday style.
Today I'm going to share an outfit with you than I love to wear because it's a bit more out there in comparison to what I usually wear but it is so neutral and wearable that it doesn't look like I stepped out of a magazine shoot. 

Summer Blues

During the year when I wrote my blogposts in bulk, my 'Current Favourites' went up months after they were actually my favourite products. Because of this I now want to write about things that are relevant to my life as the post goes live. This week I was planning on posting an outfit here on my blog but that certainly isn't relevant to the week I just had. To be honest I had a fairly rough week, I've had worse but I also have had a lot better. So today I have decided to talk about my summer blues.

Get Ready With Me

Recently I have started to do 'Get Ready With Me' types of videos on my Snapchat. I have gotten great feedback from them so I decided to try and translate the Snapchats into a blogpost. 

The other evening I went to a friend's house and had a lovely chilled and laid back night. I decided to get Darragh to take photos while I got ready and I'm going to share them with you today.

I always get ready at my dressing table (which I am currently painting white, so you see a lot more of it in the near future) as there is good lighting and it is where I store all my beauty products. Although there is good lighting for me when I doing my makeup, the lighting doesn't translate well on camera because I am sitting right next to a window, so excuse the dark photos!

European Beauty Haul

Last week I was in Italy so of course I had to pop in to a Kiko store. My brother was also travelling and was interrailing around Europe so he picked me up some French skincare and some bits in Sephora. Last year he did the same and I told you all what happens when your brother is let loose in Sephora so I thought that I would have to share what he picked up again this year. I'll stop chatting and jump straight into my European beauty haul.
